Maintenance Engineer

We are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business based inThurmaston, Leicesterwho are looking to add anelectrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineerto their engineering team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join astable, well-invested manufacturing sitewhere engineers are trusted to take ownership of maintenance and improvement activities across the plant.The role operates on adouble days shift pattern (6am2pm / 2pm10pm)withone week of nights every five weeks. The night shift week consists offour x 8-hour shifts, providing a balanced and manageable rotation.The RoleYou will be responsible for supporting the site through a mixture ofreactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activity.Working closely with production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring machinery uptime and driving reliability across the facility.Typical responsibilities include:Electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing equipmentSupporting PPM schedules and planned engineering workDiagnosing faults on motors, sensors, drives, relays and control systemsWorking with production teams to minimise downtime and improve performanceSupporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the siteWhat Were Looking ForWere keen to speak with engineers who have experience withinmanufacturing or production environments, ideally with a strong electrical skillset.You will ideally have:Experience fault finding onthree-phase electrical systemsStrong problem-solving ability within afast-paced manufacturing environmentA proactive attitude towards maintenance and reliabilityElectrical qualifications such asNVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalentwould be advantageous.Whats On Offer£48,000 basic salaryStructured shift pattern withlimited nightsStable manufacturing environmentOpportunity to join a well-established engineering teamIf you would like to find out more about the opportunity, please apply or get in touch for a confidential conversation.JBRP1_UKTJ
