Hours: 6-2/2-10 (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £41,800
Our client has a permanent opportunity to join their large manufacturing plant.
As a multi-skilled engineer, you will assist your colleagues with minimising downtime of the production machinery, ensuring Health & Safety procedures are always adhered. You will be responsible for maintaining & repairing faults with machinery, both electrically and mechanical.
You will be working in a team of engineers; you will maintain production equipment as well as working on the process and services equipment. Having the ability to work well by yourself and as part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers and assisting the operational teams.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in Temperature controllers, Vacuum systems, 3phase power distribution, Water and air cooling systems, Dust extraction systems, A.C and D.C motor control systems. These are desirable skills.

Provide effective engineering support to ensure all manufacturing areas to operate efficiently.
Ensue that yourself and others operate within safe working environment and ensuring safe working conditions for equipment and environment.
Control of engineering stores and equipment.
The repair and maintenance of all plant, machinery and equipment.
Undertaking and supporting of specific projects as directed.
Support the site Management in the process of continuous improvement and culture change in order to create and maintain a best-in-class manufacturing facility.
Demonstrate multi-skilling and the timely response to maintenance activities.
To have a flexible approach to hours of working as dictated by the needs of the business.
