An established manufacturing operation is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a key role supporting high‑volume production across a large-scale manufacturing facility.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing effective reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery, ancillary equipment, and site infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key responsibilities include:
Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults Maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment Supporting tool changes and ensuring correct operation Maintaining ancillary equipment such as dryers, conveyors, chillers, compressors, and robots Completing maintenance logs, reports, and documentation accurately Working closely with production teams to resolve recurring issues Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives
