A global manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join its engineering team at a high-performing production site in Leeds. This role is focused on ensuring the continuous operation, reliability and improvement of plant and equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance activities across the site, working closely with production, engineering and external suppliers. The role requires a hands-on, proactive engineer with strong mechanical fault-finding capability, supported by a good level of electrical knowledge. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, support preventative maintenance activities, and contribute to the validation and commissioning of new plant, equipment and automation.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting moulding machines, automated assembly systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and ancillary equipment, carrying out fault finding and root cause analysis, and ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained in a safe and compliant condition.
