We are working with a well-established and expanding manufacturer who is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a modern, high-volume FMCG production site in Telford . This is a great opportunity to join a business that continues to invest in its people, plant, and future growth.
The Role Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you'll be responsible for a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance , ensuring machinery and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out PPM on automated manufacturing and packaging machinery

Electrical and mechanical fault-finding in a time-critical production environment

Responding effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Working closely with production teams to maintain output and quality standards

This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern , offering a strong balance between work and time off.
What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Background within FMCG, manufacturing, or automated production environments

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented mindset

Willingness to develop and progress within the business
