Maintenance Engineer Food Industry CONTRACT ROLE
Location: Evesham
Rate: £40 per hour (Outside IR35)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days)
Contract Length: 3 months rolling
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with strong experience in the food manufacturing sector to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance Engineer , you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a food manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Desirable PLC fault-finding experience.
Familiarity with automated packaging machinery.
