Maintenance Handyman

We are currently recruiting fora Handypersonwith Carpentry experience to joinour maintenance team. This role will work as part of a small hands on, and professional maintenance team positioned within one of Londons most exclusive luxury establishments, located close to Green Park tube station.
The responsibilities & requirements of the role are:
To ensure equipment and compressors ie fridges, freezers, ice machines, AHUs, plant rooms etc are kept clean within the premises
General making good throughout the buildings.
On occasion Supervising and overseeing Sub-contractors that enter the premises who are carrying out planned or necessary work
Demonstrate good painting abilities.
Strong communication skills with proficient written and verbal English
Ability to work solo and part of a team.
B eing approachable, friendly, enthusiastic, willing to help others and be well presented at all times.
- essentially Have a "Can Do" attitude!
Requirement to work weekends when asked on short notice.
Must be able and willing to work overtime when asked on short notice.
The experience & qualifications required :
Significant experience in a similar position is essential.
Experience of working in a large or multi-site hotel would be advantageous.
Good Knowledge but not essential in the following areas; AHUs, HVACS, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Calorifiers and Boilers and aspects of Electricals.
Good knowledge and experience in Carpentry.
A full UK Driving Licence would be preferable but not essential.
