Maintenance Manager

This is a hotel Maintenance Manager role for someone who enjoys leading a team while staying close to the operation. You will manage day to day engineering, compliance, contractors, and presentation standards. You will act as the main point of contact for maintenance across the hotel, working closely with senior management.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading the hotel maintenance operation across guest rooms, public areas, and plant
* Managing engineers and allocating workloads based on priorities and guest impact
* Owning the PPM schedule and driving completion across building services and fabric
* Managing reactive maintenance, response times, and service standards
* Controlling subcontractors, access, permits, and method statements
* Managing compliance tasks, basic audits, and evidence for records
* Planning and delivering minor projects, room refresh works, and lifecycle tasks
* Managing stock, spares, ordering, and budget control
* Producing clear reports, handovers, and weekly updates for senior management
* Ensuring H and S standards, risk awareness, and safe systems of work
What We’re Looking For
* Proven maintenance leadership experience, supervisor or manager level
* Strong building services understanding across M&E and fabric
* Hotel or hospitality experience preferred
* Strong admin skills, reporting, planning, and task tracking
* Confident communicator with contractors, suppliers, and hotel management
* Calm under pressure, able to prioritise and protect guest experience
