We are working with a leading food manufacturing group to recruit for a Maintenance Manager to oversee engineering and maintenance operations across multiple production sites in Cavan and Fermanagh. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving maintenance excellence, improving site reliability, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Duties Lead and develop multi-site maintenance teams, ensuring high performance and strong engagement. Oversee all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure scheduling is effective, compliant, and aligned to production demands. Manage reactive maintenance, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime. Coordinate and manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers. Lead and support capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including planning, budgeting, installation, and commissioning. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and site performance. Ensure all maintenance activity complies with health, safety, and quality standards. Use data and reporting tools to track KPIs, maintenance performance, and budget adherence. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to deliver engineering solutions that support business objectives. Criteria Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, or Senior Maintenance Lead within manufacturing, ideally FMCG or food. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance within a high-volume production environment. Track record of implementing and managing PPM systems and driving continuous improvement. Experience managing CapEx projects from planning through to commissioning. Strong people management skills with experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Excellent communication, organisational, and planning abilities. Ability to work across multiple sites and manage priorities effectively.
