Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong electrical bias to oversee engineering operations within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance function, ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site maintenance function with a strong focus on electrical systems.
- Oversee and support a team of 12 engineers (6 per shift).
- Ensure all plant equipment is maintained to maximise uptime and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose faults, coordinate repairs, and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
- Maintain and support key production machinery including:
- Granulators
- Weighers and silos
- Production presses
Essential
- Recognised Electrical Engineering qualifications.
- Strong electrical bias within maintenance engineering.
- Experience within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
- Experience within animal feed manufacturing (highly advantageous).

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
