We are looking for experienced Maintenance Operatives/Handymen to start work on a temporary basis. The work is based at a Residetal Building in Surrey. Duties: Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing lights, repairing doors). Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of communal areas, building systems, and fixtures. Ensure communal areas are clean, safe, and free of hazards. Test and maintain fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety systems. Follow health and safety regulations and report any risks or incidents. Respond promptly to residents' maintenance requests and emergency issues (e.g., leaks, power failures). Escalate complex problems to specialist contractors when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and order in shared spaces (entrances, hallways, gardens). Support seasonal tasks like snow removal or minor gardening.
