Maintenance Specialist required for an immediate start!

KMK are delighted to be working with a cutting-edge company who designs and operates workspace for the world's most vibrant brands. From managing the design and build, to creating an elevated ongoing experience, they create spaces that are worth leaving home for.

They are looking for an in-house Maintenance Specialist to ensure their managed offices run smoothly, whilst ensuring that new offices are opened and finished to the highest standards.

You will be:

\n\t
• The first line of service: running a first assessment of the situation: carry out repairs or recommending a specialist contractor on site
\n\t
• Performing site inspections, identifying and reporting the need for major repairs
\n\t
• When required, you’ll be present when contractors attend sites and ensure completion of the works
\n\t
• Performing maintenance and repairs including leaks, changing taps, general plumbing, tiling, minor electrical works, lock changes etc. As well as some decorating works: painting, pictures frames etc.
\n\t
• Providing support to the wider operations team during tenants move-ins (whiteboards, fixing TVs on walls etc)
\n\t
• Performing light carpentry (e.g. building cabinets)
\n

Offering two shifts – 8am-5pm or 11am-8pm with flexibility when required – working across multiple sites in London!

About you

\n\t
• Proven experience within maintenance or construction
\n\t
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
\n\t
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing & HVAC systems
\n\t
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
\n\t
• Health and safety is a priority
\n\t
• Comfortable working alone and also as part of a team
\n
