They are part of a global group with multiple sites in the UK and are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to join the team\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all high-speed production & packaging machinerY\nHands-on (80%) leading a team of X2 shift engineers\nPPM planning, workload scheduling, input data into CMMS system, contractor management, attending maintenance meetings\nYou will be carrying out toolbox audits, make sure team is working safely, monitoring engineering performance / set KPI's\nElectrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving and repairs\nPLC - electrical fault finding\nContinuous improvement projects\nDealing with motors, servo drives, contactors, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, inverters\nManagement of stores, ordering of spares & parts when needed\nUpkeep and alteration of electrical & mechanical drawingsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:\n\nIdeally you would have Team Leader / Supervisory experience or stepped up within a secondment role. \nNVQ Level 3 engineering or maintenance minimum\nMust have completed a time-served-apprenticeship, with 5+ years experience outside of it\nStrong electrical & mechanical problem solving skills\nIdeally have worked in food manufacturing industry\nKnowledge of PLC's, automation & control systems, HMi's beneficial\nControl panels - electrical fault finding\nAble to read and follow electrical schematic drawings\nKnowledge of food safety / hygiene beneficial\nContinuous improvement mentality\nWillingness to help in all areas of the team\nWorked on motors, inverters, VSD's, sensors, switches, pneumatics, gearboxesIf you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.\n\nHunter Selection Limited is a recruitment consultancy with offices UK wide, specialising in permanent & contract roles within Engineering & Manufacturing, IT & Digital, Science & Technology and Service & Sales sectors.\n\nPlease note as we receive a high level of applications we can only respond to applicants whose skills & qualifications are suitable for this position.
