Maintenance Technician / Electrician Permanent Based in Glasgow

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician / Electrician to join our friendly and dynamic team here at Waterstones in Glasgow. You will be responsible for Installing, Maintaining, Modifying and repairing all Electrical systems in Waterstones stores and Cafes across the Glasgow area. This is a varied role which will require you to also support with basic plumbing, joinery and painting and decorating duties across your area.

Please note: You will need a full UK driving licence for this role. A van is supplied for your use. This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working or call out.

What you will be doing Installing, Maintaining, Modifying and repairing all Electrical systems in Waterstones stores and Cafes. Ensuring that Electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations. Supervise ongoing Electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams when needed. Identifying Electrical problems and repairing them via store audit process.
