Maintenance Technician - Based Poole

Basic salary £53,400 (this includes the shift allowance), excellent benefits and pension scheme.

Candidates must be able to work double days, no nights, 37 hours per week, and overtime paid thereafter.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a time served Apprentice or be qualified by experience and a skilled maintenance technician in either mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical bias and able to demonstrate experience of working within a machine shop environment.

As a “hands on” Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, buildings, and facilities onsite whilst maintaining and improving all aspects of the operational site.

As a Maintenance Technician you must be able to demonstrate practical experience in fault finding within a machine shop environment with an ability to repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Candidate

* Practical ability to fault find from electrical/mechanical drawings or PLC systems relating to hydraulic or pneumatic circuits, knowledge of (TPM/PPM / RCM) is highly desirable.

* Ability to demonstrate a positive, pro-active, can-do attitude and work calmly under pressure.

* Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
