MCL Property Adjuster
Midlands & South

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Adjuster to join a growing and well-established adjusting business, handling a portfolio of mid to complex losses across the Midlands and South. This role offers a high level of autonomy, a varied caseload, and the chance to deal with more technical and higher-value claims.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Adjuster to join a growing and well-established adjusting business, handling a portfolio of mid to complex losses across the Midlands and South. This role offers a high level of autonomy, a varied caseload, and the chance to deal with more technical and higher-value claims.
The Role:
- Manage a caseload of Mid & Complex Loss (MCL) property claims from first notification through to settlement
- Conduct site visits to assess damage, determine cause, and validate claims
- Handle a mix of domestic and commercial property losses, including higher value and more technical claims
- Interpret and apply policy wordings, terms, and conditions to ensure accurate coverage decisions
- Produce detailed reports (including ABI reports) within agreed service level agreements
- Liaise with insurers, policyholders, brokers, contractors, and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently
- Appoint and manage specialists (surveyors, engineers, contractors) where required
- Provide clear technical guidance and maintain strong communication throughout the claim lifecycle
- Proactively manage your diary and caseload, ensuring timely progression and resolution of claims
- Attend re-visits and maintain accurate file notes and documentation
- Proven experience in property loss adjusting or strong background in property claims handling
- Experience dealing with mid to complex losses is highly desirable
- Knowledge of both domestic and commercial property insurance policies
- Ideally qualified (or working towards) Cert CILA / CII or equivalent
- Strong investigative, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
- Highly organised, self-sufficient, and able to manage a remote, field-based role
- Full UK driving licence required
- Salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience)
