As we continue to grow, we are expanding the finance team and we are seeking a Management Accountant to support financial operations across our venues, ensuring accurate reporting, effective reconciliation, and compliance with internal controls. This is a key role that will provide vital financial oversight, operational support, and accurate reporting to drive efficiency and profitability across the group. The Role The Management Accountant will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with business requirements. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this role will also support project reporting, invoicing, supplier payments, and dispute management. The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining strong internal processes and providing clear, data-driven insight to the senior team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, organised, and commercially aware finance professional to be part of a fast-growing, ambitious hospitality group. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Reconciliation Perform daily sales reconciliations between the EPOS system (Tevalis) and the Sun Accounting System. Reconcile cash, credit card receipts, and bank transactions on a daily basis. Prepare and circulate the daily Flash Report for management. Complete weekly cash flow statements and reconciliations of control accounts. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support decision-making. Invoicing & Payments Generate proforma and VAT invoices, ensuring accurate and timely posting. Process weekly supplier payments and manage AMEX expenses in line with policy. Prepare and post intercompany invoices, ensuring compliance with group processes. Manage invoices related to new developments, coordinating with stakeholders for accuracy. Dispute & Refund Management Monitor and respond to chargeback queries via the Square platform, ensuring timely resolution. Process customer refunds in accordance with company policy. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance throughout the process. Project & Reporting Support Maintain and update the Project Tracker, submitting to the Group Financial Controller and CFO weekly. Support ad-hoc business requirements and financial projects as directed. Assist with variance analysis and ensure accuracy in project-related reporting. Key Requirements & Skills Experience & Knowledge Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA or CIMA preferred). Previous experience in management accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Knowledge of accounting systems (Sun Accounting System experience desirable). Strong understanding of reconciliations, financial controls, and compliance requirements. Skills & Attributes High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
