Are you a strong, practice-trained Management Accountant (first or second move from practice) looking for your next step in industry? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity.
This role offers a clearly defined progression path into senior finance leadership. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Head of Finance, you will be on a structured development path toward Assistant Financial Controller and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver the month-end close process, including detailed review of key journals such as income and payroll accruals.

Take ownership of the company and Group balance sheet, ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly and reviewed thoroughly.

Lead the statutory audit and tax compliance processes, maintaining robust financial controls and procedures throughout the year.

Act as the key finance sponsor for Sage Intacct, driving continuous improvement through systemisation and automation to reduce the impact of high transaction volumes on team workload.

Line management responsibilities, including review of daily and monthly bank reconciliations, as well as oversight of other key control accounts and sub-ledgers.

What We're Looking For
ACA qualified accountant

Practice-trained, with 1-2 years' post-qualification experience in industry

Audit experience
Strong technical accounting foundation with the ambition to progress into senior finance leadership

Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment
