With a team of over 100 specialists and ambitious expansion plans, this is an exciting time to join.Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays a key part in operational cost control, financial planning, and delivering high‑quality management information to support strategic decision‑making across the business.The RoleYou’ll take ownership of core management accounting and cost‑focused responsibilities, including:Developing and maintaining cost accounting processes suited to a complex manufacturing environmentCalculating and monitoring standard costs across materials, labour, and overheadsDelivering variance analysis and insight to support operational and commercial performanceAssessing cost impacts of design, material, and process changesManaging inventory reporting, reconciliations, and COGS analysisProducing gross margin reporting by product, customer, and locationSupporting budgeting, forecasting, cost modelling and breakeven analysisPreparing detailed management and cost reports for senior leadershipManaging and developing a Finance AssistantAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who brings:A degree in Finance, Economics or STEMCIMA/ACCA qualification (or finalist)5–7 years’ experience in management accounting or cost accounting, ideally within high‑tech, engineering, or manufacturingStrong ERP experience and advanced Excel capabilityExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailConfidence communicating financial information to non‑finance colleaguesA proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work across multiple teamsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or cost‑control methodologiesWhat’s on Offer£55,000–£65,000 salary (DOE)Annual bonusHybrid working & flexible hours25 days holidayPrivate healthcare & death in service4% pension (salary sacrifice)Generous EMI share schemeThe chance to join a genuinely innovative, fast‑growing technology business shaping the future of advanced manufacturing # 4750206
