that is strengthening its finance function and now looking to appoint a
Management Accountant
into a newly structured team.
This opportunity is ideal for a

who enjoys being hands-on, close to the numbers, and working directly with operational teams — without people management responsibilities.
The Opportunity
As a
Management Accountant , you will play a pivotal role in producing accurate month-end reporting and providing meaningful insight to the wider business. This is a commercially focused
Management Accountant
role where your work directly supports operational decision-making.
You'll work closely with non-finance stakeholders, helping them understand performance, costs, and trends — making this a great role for a
Management Accountant
who enjoys business partnering rather than working in isolation. This is an
individual contributor Management Accountant
position with no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities In this
Management Accountant
role, your responsibilities will include: Producing
monthly management accounts Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and journals (including payroll and utilities) Completing bank reconciliations and processing bank payments Supporting cash flow reporting (with increasing responsibility over time) Providing analysis and insight to support operational performance Business partnering with departmental managers across the site Working within an established ERP system (legacy system, with future upgrade planned) About You This role will suit a
Management Accountant
who is practical, adaptable, and confident working in a live operational environment. You may be: Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE will be considered An experienced
Management Accountant , or an ambitious up-and-coming Management Accountant ready for the next step Strong in
Excel
(pivot tables, lookups, formulas) Comfortable explaining numbers to non-finance colleagues Experienced in manufacturing (helpful but not essential) Manufacturing experience is advantageous, but this role is equally suitable for a
Management Accountant
from a strong commercial or operational background. Location & Working Pattern
Based near
Horncastle, Lincolnshire Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Typical hours: 8:00–4:00 / 8:30–4:30 / 9:00–5:00 Initially, office-based
to embed with the team Hybrid working available after onboarding (typically 3 days onsite / 2 from home)
