We're looking for a proactive, solutions-focused Management Accountant with strong experience and a real appetite for positive change.
This role is not just about producing management accounts. You will provide meaningful insight, support operational colleagues and leaders, challenge existing ways of working, and help pro-actively identify and support continuous improvement across the organisation. Main Responsibilities: Produce high-quality financial and management reporting, including monthly accounts, variance analysis, dashboards, and audit information. Support annual budgeting and in-year forecasting alongside Finance Business Partners. Analyse KPIs, trends, and performance drivers to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Work closely with Finance Business Partners to interpret results, develop financial models, and support ROI analysis. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting, forecasting accuracy, and overall efficiency. Provide cover for core finance tasks during absence periods (e.g., payments, journals, project updates). Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of financial systems and workflows. Support ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the Finance Director. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance policies and contribute to their ongoing improvement.
