A well‑established Civil Engineering contractor is strengthening its commercial leadership team and is looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial function across the region. With a strong pipeline of National Highways and Local Authority work, this is a chance to step into a role with real influence, visibility, and long‑term progression.

You’ll have the freedom to balance your time between home, site, and the company’s Kent offices, joining a business that genuinely invests in its people and supports career development at every stage.

As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will:

· Be responsible for overseeing applications, CVR’s, forecasting and cost control.

· Report monthly on profit/loss, cash flow etc

· Prepare and negotiate subcontract enquiries

· Have strong leadership skills and experience with managing a team of QS’s

· Be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

· Have a strong understanding of NEC form of contract.

Locations: You’ll work from site and home with weekly visits to our clients’ offices in Maidstone

Hybrid options: Flexibility of home working 1-2 days a week

Salary band: £80,000 - £95,000 per annum
