Job Description
Manufacturing Technician II\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the assembly and testing of medical devices. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, following strict safety protocols, and ensuring all production documentation is accurate.\n\nLocation: Birmingham \nPay Rate: £12.65 per hour\nType: Full-time\nContract: 3 months (potential for extension)\nHours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon - Fri, 08:00 - 16:30)\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction & Testing: Assist in the assembly and precision testing of medical devices.\n\nEquipment Care: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment.\n\nDocumentation: Accurately complete worksheets, records, and digital logs.\n\nSystems Use: Utilize ERP systems to track work progress and manage documentation.\n\nCompliance: Strictly follow Health & Safety procedures and Quality Management Systems (QMS).\n\nTeam Support: Collaborate with the wider team to meet delivery goals and production targets.\n\nRequirements\nEducation: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science are essential.\n\nTechnical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and the ability to follow complex written instructions (SOPs).\n\nExperience: Previous experience in a manufacturing, lab, or regulated production environment is highly .\n\nAttributes: High attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, "right-first-time" attitude.\n\nApply today!\n\nRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
