Salary : £64,000 + £5,520 car allowance
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to join our Standards and Performance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality project management for vessel improvements, modifications, and upgrades. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to implementation and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and deliver vessel improvement projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
Attend vessels during installation and commissioning phases to ensure successful delivery.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
Oversee project planning, procurement, contractor management, and quality assurance.
Ensure compliance with the Management of Change process.
Respond to technical queries and support investigations related to project work.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Class 1 or 2 Marine Engineer Certificate, or equivalent in Naval Architecture, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HND, or APM Project Management qualification with marine experience.
Proven experience in leading marine-related projects.
Strong project scoping, planning, and implementation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
Familiarity with project tools and methodologies.
Background in commercial ship operations or seagoing marine roles.
Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.
