Description
We are looking for a Marketing and Business Development (BD) Executive to be based in either our Chatham or Canterbury office, with regular travel to the other, on a part-time (22.5 hours per week), 12 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will project manage and coordinate a variety of marketing and business development activities for the Advisory service line, with a focus on event management and content support. This role is ideal for a proactive, organised self-starter who can work confidently on their own and collaborate effectively across multiple teams to deliver excellent client and internal stakeholder experiences.
About the role
- Planning, organising, and coordinating targeted marketing events with advisory teams and intermediaries, including invitations, communications, and liaison with external suppliers
- Supporting business development by assisting with BD plans,
- Reviewing and proof-reading articles and marketing content
- Managing website content updates and drafting social media posts to help maintain a strong external profile
- Providing administrative and project support to fee earners and BD managers to help meet their objectives
- Supporting the marketing budget management and measuring return on investment where applicable
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting BD pipeline tracking and reporting
- Collaborating regularly with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery and consistent brand messaging
What we're looking for
- A personable, confident professional who is proactive, well-organised, and able to work independently
- Able to integrate smoothly into multiple teams and ask questions to drive clarity and progress
- A few years’ marketing experience, ideally in professional services or a similar environment
- Experience or interest in event coordination, content creation, and business development
- Ability to manage a varied and dynamic workload
- Strong communication and copywriting skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
