Marketing Copywriter
2 Days Old
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Copywriter to join our Marketing team based at our beautiful Wiltshire office. Our Wiltshire home is where each of our designs are born. Every team from marketing, product and finance to our bespoke carpenters and delivery drivers live here.
Reporting directly to the Head of Brand, you'll be responsible for writing copy across multiple marketing channels and platforms - whether that be digital channels such as our website, emails and social media or printed material such as brochures and in store POS.
While our designs are a huge part of who we are, 'the why' and 'the how' almost matter more than 'the what'. It's easy to tell you what we do, it's harder to explain why. It'll be important for the successful candidate to build a thorough understanding of our Neptune story and our products - our British heritage, our philosophy (a different perspective) and how we talk about ourselves.
You'll have the ability to interpret creative briefs, a skill for storytelling and able to write copy in a way that feels authentic. Copy at Neptune should be characterful but authoritative and succinct, with clear consumer benefits. You'll be a creative thinker, but also pragmatic in your approach to bringing campaigns to life.
We're looking for someone who has:
2+ years within a reputable agency, in-house team or freelancing with a creative copywriting portfolio that speaks for itself. The ability to question a brief and highlight creative challenges or opportunities. Experience developing integrated campaign narratives, supporting awareness, engagement, and action KPIs across multiple marketing channels. The ability to adapt copy tone and style to ensure its suited for every stage of customer journey. A proactive approach to building cross-functional relationships and invaluable product knowledge. An understanding of SEO and how to use insight to drive our google positioning though copy. This includes the maintenance and revision of product descriptions in line with best SEO practices. Attention to detail is a must - you'd be responsible for checking the spelling, grammar, and proofing all of your work before it reaches the customer. Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently. A good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
