Marketing Manager - GCC/Export Channel (Salary £45k–£50k PA) Unisnacks Europe Ltd, headquartered north of London, UK, specializes in importing and distributing high‑quality branded ambient consumer packaged foods, snacks, confectioneries and beverages across the UK and Europe. Partnering with global brand owners such as Meiji Seika, Lotte Confectionery and Pokka Corporation, Unisnacks offers a diverse range of products including Hello Panda Biscuits, Choco Pie and Pokka beverages. The company works with food retailers to connect international brands to new markets, ensuring a premium selection that meets consumer demand. Role Description Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, forecasting, planning, merchandising and promoting the company’s products in allocated territories for export destinations, and managing overall business to ensure sustainable growth for customers and the company. Strategic Duties
Provide market opportunity information in GCC countries for strategic planning. Execute strategic initiatives within allocated territories in the GCC and local wholesale export channels. Evaluate British‑made products for exports to the GCC directly and indirectly. Collaborate with trade marketing and sourcing teams to develop own‑label products for export markets. Coordinate compliance for each export market with detailed insights across GCC countries.
Operational Duties
Acquire and develop new customers. Launch new products in the territory by recruiting new customers. Sell company products to current and new wholesale channels. Retain customers and manage progressive growth. Manage customer credit. Organise and execute product promotions. Participate in consumer and community promotional events. Propose and take ownership of successful KPI deliverables.
Work Scope
Create a positive impact on customers, suppliers and colleagues. Build, develop and manage business relationships with customers. Maximise product range presence, visibility and availability. Own, lead and innovate promotional campaigns in collaboration with brand managers. Develop new accounts across the assigned trade sector. Achieve defined sales targets profitably and consistently. Act as a brand ambassador by living by the company’s purpose, mission and values.
Qualifications
Diploma or higher level. Specialisation or certification in Sales and Marketing. Professional training and wider work experience (e.g., PDP). Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an additional qualification.
Experience
Minimum of 15 years in a similar role. Minimum 8 years in a supervisory/management position with proven independent decision‑making. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in selling, influencing and negotiating. Forecasting and planning skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Organised and detail‑oriented with high numeracy skills. Clean driving licence to facilitate extensive travelling within the UK. Optional knowledge of foreign languages. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Interpersonal communication and networking skills. Passion for learning.
Salary £45,000 to £50,000 per annum. Bonus To be announced. Contract Period Open‑ended subject to standard terms. Location Bedfordshire.
