Our client is a Thailand based vertically integrated agro industrial group that produces processes and distributes livestock aquaculture products and animal feed across five continents. They are currently looking to recruit a Material Supply Multi Skilled Operative to support production operations and site hygiene while ensuring materials packaging and supplies are available across the facility.
This role plays an important part in maintaining the smooth running of the site through supporting production teams managing materials and ensuring high standards of cleanliness organisation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general hygiene duties including daily pre start inspection of the yard pallet counts and ensuring sufficient pallets are available in the production area. Ensure changing rooms are stocked with appropriate PPE and that washing stations have adequate supplies of soap sanitiser and hand towels.
Sort uniform deliveries manage waste bags and dispose of them into the correct waste skips or compactors. Flatten cardboard waste and operate the cardboard baler while ensuring the rear yard and surrounding floor areas remain clean tidy and safe.
Load and despatch trailers while supporting packaging and raw material deliveries. Book in incoming materials and packaging and pick required packaging materials and PPE for production teams. Carry out weekly stock takes within the Packaging Store and 101 Cold Store and complete daily operational checks.
Liaise with transport providers to receive and despatch trailers and ensure materials flow efficiently across the site.
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete tasks in line with company risk assessments procedures and safety standards
Work safely at all times following health and safety policies COSHH regulations and PPE requirements
Maintain high personal hygiene standards and follow company hygiene quality and housekeeping procedures
Ensure equipment and working areas are cleaned to the required standards following a clean as you go approach
Operate machinery in line with training and provide flexibility across different areas when required
Report hazards defects or near misses to the Team Leader
Ensure products and racks are labelled correctly to maintain traceability
Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
Support continuous improvement across safety hygiene quality and operational efficiency
Carry out other reasonable duties requested by management
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Working in a busy factory environment
Working within a team
Due diligence and accurate paperwork completion
Experience using the Defacto system for booking
Experience using forklifts or pallet trucks
