Senior Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor\n\n Manchester\n£75,000 + Company Car / Allowance + Benefits\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team delivering high-value building services projects across the North West and beyond.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in major mechanical and electrical installations.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will take full commercial responsibility for M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManaging the commercial performance of mechanical and electrical projects\n\nPreparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and subcontracts\n\nCost planning, forecasting, and reporting\n\nValuations, variations, and change management\n\nProcurement of specialist M&E subcontract packages\n\nRisk and value management\n\nProducing monthly CVRs and financial reports\n\nSupporting and mentoring junior commercial staff\n\nLiaising with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of building services and a solid commercial background.\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor (Senior level )\n\nStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services installations\n\nExperience working for an M&E contractor or specialist subcontractor\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities\n\nExcellent negotiation and communication skills\n\nGood understanding of contract forms (e.g., JCT, NEC)\n\nProficient in cost reporting and commercial management systems\n\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline ()\n\nFull UK driving licence\n\nWhat's On Offer\n\nSalary up to £75,000 depending on experience\n\nCompany car or car allowance\n\nPension scheme\n\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\nCareer progression opportunities within a growing business\n\nSupportive and collaborative team environment\n\nIf you're an experienced M&E QS ready to step into a senior role with real responsibility and long-term progression, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nIf interested in further details please contact John Baker or Katherine Oxlade\n\n--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, , , belief, , sexuality or .
