We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor for a permanent position based with our client in York
Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)
Salary is £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working hours are 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid for lunch and a 15-minute paid break in the morning and afternoon.
Duties:
Daily supervision and motivation of a mechanical assembly team
Mentoring and managing team performance
Ensure the work is done to the correct standard in as efficiently and safely as possible
Must have:
Previous experience in a Team Leader / Supervisory role within manufacturing / Assembly / Fitting environment
Hands-on mechanical/basic electrical fitting experience
Proven ability to deliver projects to timescales
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
