POSITION : Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer
LOCATION : Commutable from Leeds , Sheffield, Doncaster, York , Hull , Harrogate, Grimsby , Scunthorpe, Lincoln , Barnsley , Rotherham, Scarborough
The client offers a hybrid mix of home working and office based work
HOURLY RATE : Negotiable hourly rate - Range £21 ph - £27 ph . Ltd Co ( outside IR 35) or PAYE options available
THE ROLE : This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join our client on a long term freelance basis. They offer the opportunity to work as part of a multi disciplinary team on a wide range of new build and refurbishment projects. Typically these projects will be valued between £40k to £400k. The working hours are 37 hours per week. Hybrid working is available 2 / 3 days in the office.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :

• Previous experience working as a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer including the Design of schemes using AutoCAD
• Well developed technical understanding of standards and codes of practice
• The ability to produce building services specifications on construction projects
• Established IT skills with Microsoft Project programmes
• Full driving licence

Qualifications to NVQ Level 4 in a Building Services discipline would be desirable, however, we are happy to consider Engineers who do not hold that level of qualification but can show significant Building Services experience.
