Role: Mechanical CAD Technician
Location: Manchester - Hybrid Working Available
Rate: Up to £50 p/d (DOE)
Duration: on going (12 months+)

Are you a skilled Mechanical CAD Technician with a passion for 3D modelling and drawing production? Do you have experience working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment and a keen eye for detail? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!
Our client, a prominent company working on the United Utilities AMP8 Framework, is seeking a Mechanical CAD Technician to join their team on a variety of exciting projects in the North West. Based in their Manchester office with hybrid working available, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical design work for major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
·3D modelling and 2D drawing production to a level suitable for construction, including layouts and general arrangements.
·Quality control of models and drawings, ensuring they meet standards and updating drawing registers such as MIDP.
·Ensure designs comply with CDM regulations.
·Coordinate drawing work undertaken by offshore resources and support the development of junior team members.
·Collaborate across technical disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
Requirements/Desirable:
·Experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
·Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modelling, with hands-on experience in Autodesk, Revit and other 3D applications.
·Experience with Bentley Projectwise and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
·Solid understanding of CAD standards, QA processes, and engineering software.
·Detail-oriented, with the ability to present complex designs clearly and effectively.
