Mechanical / Plumbing Contracts Manager
to lead teams and ensure successful delivery of projects across the UK. The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Mechanical / Plumbing professional to join a growing business with a full order book and clear long-term progression opportunities. You will oversee multiple projects, manage site teams, ensure compliance, and drive successful delivery from mobilisation through to handover. Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
Manage mechanical / plumbing contracts across multiple UK sites Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, and schedules Monitor progress and report updates to senior leadership Team Leadership
Lead site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors Provide technical guidance and support to engineers on-site Maintain high performance standards and accountability Commercial & Operational
Ensure commercial awareness across projects Identify risks, variations, and cost-saving opportunities Support procurement and project planning activities Health & Safety
Enforce site H&S standards and compliance Ensure RAMS, permits, and site processes are followed Maintain quality and safety standards across all works Requirements
Essential
Previous experience managing
mechanical works / plumbing contracts Proven supervisory or management experience Strong leadership and communication skills Commercial awareness Ability to provide technical support to engineers Full UK Driving Licence Qualifications
SMSTS or SSSTS First Aid at Work Relevant Mechanical / Plumbing qualifications Preferred
2+ years supervisory experience Experience across commercial / industrial projects
