Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Tooting, South London

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on one of their high-profile contracts in Tooting. The mechanically qualified engineer will be working Monday to Friday split shift as part of a large maintenance team undertaking planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and emergency response on site.

The company is a well-established maintenance provider that actively supports career progression through training and development opportunities. This is a great chance to work on a prestigious higher education contract, which is a flagship site for the business.

Duties

PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) & reactive maintenance

AHUs

FCUs

Pumps – bearings, mechanical seals

Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)

Cooling towers

Tap temperatures

Chilled water systems

Plumbing

Generators

Pressurisation units

BMS operation

CRAC units

Motors Requirements

Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)

Apprentice trained – desirable

Building services maintenance experience

Very client-facing Package

£45,000 per annum

Monday to Friday, Split shift 7am - 4pm, 10am - 7pm

25 days holiday
