Quest Employment are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to diagnose, repair, and optimize the performance of a Bossar STU-2000 D horizontal pouch filling machine. This role involves hands-on mechanical troubleshooting, part replacement, and ensuring the machine operates at optimal efficiency within safety and quality standards. Requirements: Proven experience working with horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) or pouch filling machines Familiarity with Bossar machines, ideally the STU-2000 D model Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical schematics Ability to work independently under time pressure Knowledge of GMP and safety standards in food or pharmaceutical production is a plus
Pay rate to be discussed depending on experience This job role is not full time - this job involves someone to repair machinery one time bases. Ideally looking for someone who can go onsite and identify the problem, someone already working or available to do this job as a one time offer would be great
