Mechanical Engineer
Location: Dungannon
We're looking for a proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team and keep our production lines running at their best. You'll work independently, solve complex mechanical issues, and support continuous improvement across a fast-paced food manufacturing site.
What You'll Do
Deliver hands-on welding , fabrication , and mechanical repairs
Work with mechanical drive systems , hydraulics , and pneumatics
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and complete key documentation
Diagnose faults and re-engineer equipment to improve performance
Provide technical support and advice to production teams
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Time/skill-served Mechanical Engineer with industrial experience
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Experience in welding, fabrication, and mechanical drive systems
Confident decision-making and good reasoning skills
Desirable:
Food or poultry processing experience
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Strong communication, organisation, and initiative
