to join its pre-construction team on a

contract basis , with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. Role Overview You will take responsibility for the preparation and development of

mechanical tenders , working on projects typically valued up to

£6m , with the potential for larger schemes. This role requires someone who can work independently, producing accurate and competitive tenders from first principles. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for projects up to

£6m+ Use

Ensign estimating software

to produce accurate cost plans and submissions Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Carry out detailed take-offs and build-ups from first principles Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options Support tender adjudications and handover to delivery teams Experience & Requirements Proven experience as a

Mechanical Estimator

within the UK M&E sector Strong experience using

Ensign estimating software Ability to produce tenders independently from initial enquiry through to submission Experience pricing projects up to

£6m

(or similar scale) Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services Skills High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy Commercially aware with a methodical approach Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organisational skills Opportunity This is a great opportunity to join a
