Job Title: Mech Estimator / Cost Engineer Location: Bristol Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year plus benefits. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Cost Engineering Complete mechanical estimating for projects and workshop fabrication work from enquiry through to tender submission and project handover
Carry out detailed take-offs from mechanical drawings and specifications (essential)
Build and maintain labour and material costs using estimating software in line with company standards
Develop comprehensive cost build-ups including: Workshop and site labour
Materials, pipework, fittings and consumables
Plant, equipment and logistics
Subcontractors and specialist services
Overheads and margins
Review tender documentation to ensure full scope clarity, identifying risks, exclusions, assumptions and commercial exposure
