Mechanical Estimator - Growing M&E Contractor
£55,000-£70,000 (Depending on Experience) | Central London
We're working with a young and ambitious M&E contractor who are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their expanding team. The company is part of a well-established construction group, providing strong financial backing and a clear path for growth.
Specialising in commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across London, they're entering an exciting phase of expansion and are looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.
Role Overview:
  • Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for commercial fit out projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Support the pre-construction team with value engineering and cost planning.
  • Work closely with the directors and have genuine input into company growth and strategy.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical estimating within building services.
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple tenders.
  • Ambition to progress into a managerial position, building and leading a team over time.
