Mechanical Fitter / Welder FabricatorLocation: Doncaster, BalbySalary: Up To £49,400 + Overtime (1.5x)Hours: 50 hours per week (7:00am - 5:00pm)The OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial business within a heavy plant environment.This is a hands-on role for an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Welder Fabricator who is confident working on large machinery and carrying out heavy-duty welding and fabrication.You will be a key part of the engineering team, helping to maintain and improve plant equipment in a busy, fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance, testing, repair and installation of motors and gearboxesWorking on conveyor systems, including bearing maintenance and removal of spill pointsCarrying out heavy-duty welding and fabrication (MIG & Stick - TIG desirable)Supporting plant improvements and mechanical upgradesAttending breakdowns and completing planned maintenance tasksWorking closely with site management to ensure maximum uptimeSkills & ExperienceTime-served Mechanical Fitter / Welder FabricatorStrong background within heavy plant or industrial environmentsProven experience with MIG & Stick welding (TIG desirable)Confident working with conveyors, motors, gearboxes and bearingsBasic electrical knowledge (advantageous)Proactive, adaptable and able to hit the ground runningHow to ApplyIf this role sounds like a good fit, please apply with your CV.Alternatively, feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion.Email: Direct Line: 01455 242 070JBRP1_UKTJ
