Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and test products to engineering drawings and specifications Maintain quality standards and follow all Health & Safety procedures Support team members and assist with training where required Identify and escalate faults or non-conformance issues Complete documentation, production records, and stock control Maintain 6S standards and contribute to continuous improvementWhat's in it for you as a Mechanical Fitter:
Salary of £34,717 on a skilled grade Early finish every Friday Staggered day shift (start between 06:00 - 07:30, fixed once agreed) 8-hour days Monday to Thursday, 5.5 hours Friday Clean, well-organised workshop with modern equipment Stable, long-term opportunity with development potentialWhat We're Looking For:
Experience working as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline Background in machine build or OEM machinery assembly Ability to read engineering drawings and work independently Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
