We are recruiting for Mechanical Fitters on a key customer site for a minimum of a three-month contract, to assist on the upgrade of a significant capital project. Duties & Responsibilities of a Mechanical Fitter: Working on Mechanical assembly of skid-based packages Build and pressure test UV chambers to a high standard of quality whilst adhering to SOP's You will have to package the parts yourself afterwards Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders Strong technical understanding to ensure mechanical specifications are met Report any snagging issues to Site Supervisor Working from mechanical engineering drawings The Successful Mechanical Fitter Will Need: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical assembly Understand and interpret mechanical engineering drawings PVC Pipework experience would be beneficial Strong communication skills, with a keen ey...
