SourceCo Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced fitters for a globallly known client based in Bromsgrove.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, a proactive approach, and the flexibility to support both workshop and occasional on-site work.

Salary:

£31k-£35k Per Annum + Bonus

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 08:00 to 17:00

What you'll be doing:

* Strip down and assess industrial gearboxes and motors

* Carry out fault finding and complete service/job reports

* Clean and degrease mechanical components

* Replace faulty gears, shafts, bearings, and seals to manufacturer specifications

* Assemble and test gearboxes and motors

* Prepare equipment for dispatch, including painting and finishing

* Maintain high standards of health & safety within the workshop

What we are looking for:

* Strong mechanical fitting experience (essential)

* Basic electrical knowledge (ideally)

* Experience using machining equipment (e.g. lathes, presses, milling machines)

* Good level of computer literacy

* Flexible attitude and willingness to work on customer sites when required

* Full UK driving licence (ideally)

* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
