Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm with an earlier finish on Friday!

Due to an exciting expansion a global manufacturing business is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team at their state of the art manufacturing facility. This role will involve the assembly, testing & commissioning of capital machinery. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Manufacturing/assembly environment. This opportunity offers technical development & clear progression routes.
Role Description * Assist the production team in building machinery to specification * Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations * Ensure that production targets are met safely and efficiently within the working environment * Work cross functionally with design and technical teams, on build issues, to produce a superior product. * Actively assist in continuous improvement and standardisation projects and processes * Take part in working on customer sites abroad, assisting with the assembly, test, and commissioning of new machinery
Skills and Qualifications * Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering - Time served * Has experience of using Mechanical Engineering processes in assembly and fitting * Strong experience working in a manufacturing/assembly environment * Has experience of working to engineering drawings * Experience working in a customer facing role is preferred
