The Role

As a Mechanical Inspector, you will provide essential Quality and Inspection support across both existing and new business projects. You will help drive a Right First Time culture, ensuring products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced aerospace environment where precision, compliance, and continuous improvement are central to success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain robust quality control throughout the manufacturing process
  • Inspect and verify component compliance at all production stages
  • Complete First Off and Batch inspections
  • Interpret and assess engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality
  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to support business growth
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
  • Contribute to health, safety, environmental, energy, and sustainability objectives


About You

We’re looking for a proactive and technically capable inspector who takes pride in delivering precision and excellence.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working within a quality control environment


Competent using inspection equipment including:

  • Verniers
  • Micrometres
  • Bore micrometres
  • Height gauges
  • Digital Test Indicators (DTIs)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Practical problem-solving skills


Desirable:

  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Experience working to ISO 9001 standards
  • CMM experience
