Mechanical Inspector

Key Responsibilities:
Certify the product in alignment with the product certification procedure
Examine for correct assembly
Inspect the finish of parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces, etc.
Inspect for physical damage
Perform intermediate inspection checks unrelated to product certification
Monitor product certification operators
Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack
Segregate defect items from good products
Raise and maintain relevant data records/defect reports
Produce relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheets
Care for and use specialised inspection tools
Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits
Ensure compliance with all manufacturing process procedures
Ensure inspection times are met
Possess a versatile skill set applicable across a range of tasks
Maintain high workmanship standards and product quality
Maintain a safe working environment
Adhere to a good housekeeping policy
