The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing machinery and plant equipmentDiagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairsRespond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtimeSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliabilityWork closely with production teams to improve machine performanceEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety proceduresRequirementsApprentice trained or time-served Mechanical EngineerPrevious experience within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamFlexible approach to working days and afternoon shiftsPackageSalary circa £45,000Overtime availablePermanent position within a stable and growing manufacturing businessOpportunities to develop within a supportive engineering teamJBRP1_UKTJ
