Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Days only No on Call)\n\nLeeds – Wellington Place, LS1 4AP\n\nFull Time\n\nSalary £40k, Plus Over time, Onsite Parking Available, (NO ON CALL)\n\nSummary\n\nNG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a market-leading, forward-thinking company to be part of a team looking after a commercial contract based in the city centre of Leeds.\n\nSome of the key deliverables in this role will include:\n\n * Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance relating primarily to Mechanical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.\n\n * Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.\n\n * Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreement’s to meet KPI’s.\n\n * Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work.\n\n * Ensure that all Operational activities are carried out in Compliance with internal regulations and external Legislation governing the Business Operations.\n\n * Capable of working without assistance and managing Reactive Works & Small Projects carried out by others.\n\n * The position is Monday to Friday (Apply online only) - Onsite Parking Available – NO Call Out Rota\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\nAn experienced Mechanical Technician working on mechanical systems with a pro-active fault-finding approach to Engineering. A personable engineer who can articulate to clients the necessary steps and actions required to rectify issues when required\n\n * Level 3 Equivalent from a Mechanical Discipline. BMS experience and multi-skilling capability and or HVAC certificates, equivalent qualifications,\n\n * Service & repair, of Heating/Cooling systems and other water systems\n\n * Small mechanical installation works (valves, taps, etc)\n\n * M&E Fault-finding\n\n * BMS/Controls - User knowledge/experience\n\n * Experience of PPM’s to Pumps, AHUs, FCUs, Pressurisation units, Vessels, actuators, calorifiers etc.\n\n * Legionella qualification/experience\n\n * Understanding of RAMS, Point of work risk assessments and permits\n\n * Managing sub-contractors (Permits, Escorting etc)\n\n * Experience using digital CAFM system on smart phone or tablet\n\n * Unvented hot water qualification & IPAF desirable\n\nBenefits:\n\nWe 're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
