Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Wrexham, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their Maintenance team.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plant and machinery. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Duties: Diagnosing and repairing faults across medium to heavy industrial machinery. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Implementing engineering modifications to improve equipment reliability. Collaborating with both the maintenance and manufacturing teams. Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times. Operating lifting and handling equipment safely and correctly. Working to a continuous shift pattern, with overtime as required to cover absences. What we are looking for in the successful candidate: Time-served and qualified to a minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical Engineering. Strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, brazing, and rigging. Experience with high-pressure steam systems and safety-focused maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Working knowledge of MS Office or equivalent software. A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong team spirit. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
