Mechanical Maintenance Technician

What you will need, matching suitable candidates are:
NVQ Level 3 Engineering Maintenance
Driving Licence
Right attitude & Skill Set: hard working, polite and customer focused, willing learn and be adaptable
Higher Education, Armed Services or Public Sector are sectors to consider due to similar working cultures / environments and easier transition
Equally candidates with less experience but the right skills and willing to learn and commit to developing
90% Domestic Plumbing: TRVs, sinks, taps, showers, toilets (no issues with core equipment)
150 building with a range of materials they'll work with. E.g. Listed building with lead piping to new Helix building with heat pumps
Steady workload with peak periods of increased maintenance. E.g. during exam period and the use of toilets
Current team of 10 split across Heat Engineers and Plumbers - aim is to merge the two teams
Full time, 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
On Call rotation Monday - Sunday during non-working hours once every 10 weeks approximately = £160 on call payment.
